Tom and Linda have attended NLBC since the early this century.  He leads the "Grounds" team as a "mow-joe" and really enjoys working outdoors. Tom inherited his pastor-father's love for Old Testament studies and has a passion to help the curious among us understand the relevance of these scriptures to postmoderns.

Group Topic

The study combines the study of selected books from the Old Testament with the writings of Biblical archeologists, historians, and theologians. Group members will gain perspective on the scriptural account of the calling and blessing of God’s servant people which continues to live on in the New Testament and beyond. For more information contact Tom at 360-2443

Group Profile

This is a mixed group open toanyone interested in exploring the relevance of the Old Testament writings to contemporary believers.

Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn't. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever. Worship, therefore, is the fuel and goal in missions.
