Jeanne is a wife and mom, who after a many year hiatus, has finished her degree in Forensic Science. She spends time remodeling her house, working with stained glass, and dabbling in photography. Her favorite form of escapism is reading smut-free Christian romance novels. Jeanne loves this group of women and is excited to see it grow.

Connie Barwick - co-leader

Connie has attended New Life for almost 2 years and currently serves in the Programming Tech Team. She is married and has two children. Connie is employed at the Department of Corrections and is very active in the Oklahoma Ethics Consortium. She also enjoys Scouting and Graphic Design

The Great House of God by Max Lucado. We would like to invite you to join us for the nickel tour of Our Father’s house. Our group is studying the book, The Great House of God by Max Lucado. “Chances are you’ve given little thought to housing your soul. We create elaborate houses for our bodies, but our souls are relegated to a hillside shanty where the night winds chill us and the rain soaks us. Is it any wonder that the world is so full of cold hearts? Doesn’t have to be this way. We don’t have to live outside. It’s not God’s plan for your heart to roam as a Bedouin. God wants you to move out of the cold and live….with him. Under his roof there is space available. At his table a plate is set. In his living room a wingback chair is reserved just for you. This group is made up of women from different backgrounds and stages of life. We are called the Far Side because we feel there is a place Our Father wants us to be, beyond the expectaions of our beloved, corrupted world.
